Yes, it’s the 2nd Thursday, and that means it’s time to celebrate your successes!

Kudos To YOU…
These members of the Christian Writer’s Den family have reasons to celebrate, and we want to join in the party!
1. Sally Matheny (NC): The children’s magazine, Appleseeds, accepted my article, “Aerin-Moviemaker” and it is planned for their November publication. I am learning how one story can be used in a variety of publications. My true story about a 14-year-old directing a full-feature Christian film was held at a publication for a year and then rejected. Since then it has been modified and published in a newspaper and the children’s magazine. Note: If your work is rejected, rework it for another publication. It may be just what they need!
2. Laura Lee Groves (FL): My novel, Pearl, was just published. It’s a story of international adoption–a mom’s journey toward peace. Proceeds benefit my son and daughter-in-law’s India adoption fund. Here’s the link to the book: and Amazon.com.
3. Jamie Britt (NC): I was a guest blogger on The Christian Writer’s Den last week. The Chains of Unforgiveness posted on July 30, 2013.
4. Sandy Quandt (TX): Today’s Christian Woman published Letting Go, an article I wrote about
my son’s seizures, on their Parent Connect site. You can read Letting Go here.
Congratulations, writers! I’m so proud of you.
And readers, be sure to check back next Thursday and I’ll have another list of writing opportunities collected here for you. Do your research and your work, and who knows, maybe we’ll soon be celebrating with you!
