Writer’s Headlines: Call for Kudos & MoGo7000 Results; Plus Marcia Moston’s Book Give-Away!
That’s right, it’s the 1st Thursday of the month, and that means I need to hear from you! I need to hear about your kudos and MoGo7000 results. PLUS, since we had a 5th Thursday last week, we also have a book give-away. So let’s get started!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Call for Kudos…
Have you had a book released recently? Had an article published? Signed a contract with an agent or publisher? Started a blog or rebuilt a website? Had any kind of writing news to share?
If so, I want to hear from you!
But to be included in the roll-call of writers, you’ll need to follow the format below. I’m sorry, but I won’t be able to accept your good news any other way. I’m not trying to be mean, but it’s just too time-consuming to search for all the details and links.
Please Contact Me with this information in this format:
- Your name
- Your blog or website URL
- Your state abbreviation
- Your good news
- Link to your good news, if online
Thanks! Can’t wait to celebrate with you!
MoGo7000 Results Needed Now!
So…have you been working on a book? Did you write at least 7000 NEW words on a book project during the month of August? If so, we want to celebrate with you and I want to give you another entry into the drawing for $100 in cash!
All you need to do is POST A COMMENT ON THIS BLOG WITH YOUR TOTAL WORD COUNT. Please do not email me. I want everyone to see that everything’s on the up-and-up.
I can’t wait to see the end-of-the-year totals for each of you.
And if you’re just hearing about this, it’s not too late to join in! You have four more months to earn an entry into the drawing, and the more months you meet the 7000-word goal, the more entries you have in the drawing!
For complete details, just check out the MoGo7000 Challenge page here. And yes, the words can be written on more than one book project. Just remember, they have to be new words, not rewrites.
Can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to this month!
And Who’s the Winner of Marcia Moston’s Book, Call of a Coward?
It’s #12, Susan Stillwell! Yay, Susan! Just send me your snail mail address and the book will be on its way!
And for those who didn’t win, don’t worry. You can get your own copy of Call of a Coward here.
That does it for September’s 1st Thursday. Can’t wait to see what you’ve been up to!
Write on!
