Did you reach your goals this year? Were you able to lead hundreds to Christ? Did you receive a financial windfall for your writing? Did you make a mark in the world of writing? Perhaps your answers are the same as mine: No. No. No. And no.
As we close out 2012, let’s remember the reason we’re here, the reason we write, and the reason we have to live in 2013:
Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.
Colossians 4:5-6
Regardless of our stated goals, our ultimate goal must be to live, work, write, and speak in a way that will honor and glorify the Lord.
Thank you for your encouragement and support week after week as we look at, prepare for, and live in the calling God has placed on each of our lives. We’re a chosen people, hand-selected by the Father to be bearers of His Good News. I thank God for each of you and look forward to another year of serving Him together.
