Parting Words From The WORD…

The news stations report it. The headlines shout it. Our children suffer because of it.

Evil.

Sin.

Darkness.

We feel it everyday of our lives.

It’s enough to drag us down into a miry clay of depression and unbelief.

So now, as we close our week together, I pray we’ll all be encouraged and challenged by these words of Jesus:

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it give light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

The world is a dark, dark place. But we have the Light. Let’s be sure to share it every day of our lives.

I pray God’s blessing on the work of your hands and your hearts,

Vonda
