Parting Words From The WORD…

Many of us as lovers of God and messengers of His grace are struggling with personal assaults, financial and family difficulties, work and ministry issues, illness, and deaths of loved ones. It’s at times like this that it’s easy to fret and worry and focus on the struggles rather than the Savior.

As I sat down to write this post, I was reminded of some recent words written to another sister in the Lord by my friend and co-director at Christian Communicators, Carolyn Knefely:

Carolyn said, “My favorite go-to verse is John 14:27:

‘Peace I leave with you. My peace I give you. I do not give peace to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid.’ John 14:27

She then went on to say, “May the load that you are carrying today and tomorrow be lightened with the love of Jesus walking by your side. He has custom-made your yoke, with Him pulling the greater weight. Walk on with Him.”

That’s a great reminder for each of us today, whether we’re going to a spiritual attack, or simply facing the struggles of daily life.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Walk with Him. He carries the greater weight.

His grace and peace be yours in abundance,

Vonda
