Are We Willing to Lay It on the Altar?

Most of us here are writers and speakers. It’s not only what we do, but it also cuts to the core of who we are. We often say we write or speak because we have to, that we feel God has given us the ability to communicate so we can share Him, the cure for a lost and dying world.

Parting Words From The WORD…

When, according to God’s will, David passed the responsibility of building the temple on to his son, Solomon, he prepared for the work ahead by gathering the right people. He lined up those who were gifted in every type of work. Skilled craftsmen, he called them. This was part of his charge to King Solomon:

“…You have many workers: stonecutters, masons and carpenters, as well as those skilled in every kind of work in gold and silver, bronze and iron—craftsmen beyond number. Now begin the work, and the LORD be with you.” I Chronicles 22:15-16

As writers, we are each gifted in different areas. And yet, we’re all skilled craftsmen, called to create what He has planned for us to create. We’re craftsmen beyond number.

“Now, begin the work, and the LORD be with you…”

I pray God’s blessing on the work of your hands and your hearts,

Vonda
