Calling All Women Who Want To Speak for Him!

The 2012 Christian Communicators Conference is now taking registrations!

God has given each of us unique experiences from which to share His goodness and grace.
Could He be calling you to share them from the stage?

Do you have a story to tell? Would your testimony encourage and challenge others? Are you ready to take the next step in your speaking ministry, but don’t know where to begin? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!

You’re invited to join author and speaker Vonda Skelton and people-polishing expert and speaker Carolyn Knefely for the 3rd Christian Communicators Conference. The five-day, four-night conference will be held at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove, a retreat center in Asheville, NC, designed to encourage, refresh and empower believers who want to grow and deepen their faith.

Leave the chaos, forget the stress, and escape to the comfort of God’s creation where you’ll have the opportunity to learn, reflect, and hear from the Lord. Daily devotions and a time of praise & worship led by La-Tan Murphy will help us focus on Him each morning.

The all-inclusive package includes everything—there are no hidden expenses and Cecil Murphey Scholarships are available. Space is limited.

Christian Communicators is more than just a conference…it’s a community. It’s ongoing training. It’s webinars and BlogTalk Radio. It’s connection with event planners. It’s support after you return home.

Be sure to visit the Christian Communicators website for all the details and then get ready to embark on a training mission for YOUR ministry!

Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason
for the hope that you have.  I Peter 3:15

Thanks for this concise list of the upcoming conferences! A great resource, indeed. I’m attending my first ever AFCW conference this year. Even though I write Bible studies and non-fiction, many of my agency mates write fiction. So I’m going there to support them and listen to words of writing wisdom from the speakers and attendees.

    • I bet you’ll be surprised to find you’ll learn a lot that will apply to your writing as well! Hope you have fun! And I hope you’ll check back soon. We’ll have writing opportunities again soon. 🙂

  • I am praying about attending the Christian Communicators Conference. I have been asked to speak more lately so it seems like the right time. I’d love to visit the Billy Graham Training Center!

    • And we’d love to have you, Barb! The response to our conferences have been unbelievable. We keep hearing that with the smaller, intimate settings and personal attention, it fills a need that other conferences don’t. You’d be a great addition!

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. 🙂

  • Thanks for providing the links to the conferences, Vonda. I’m hoping to make it to one this year. Am thinking about the Colorado one or the CLASS one. Heart of America Christian Writers has one in November in Kansas City, but there’s not much info posted about it yet. Looking at past events might give folks an idea of what it’s like, though. Here’s their link – http://www.hacwn.org/HACWN/Conference.html

    • Personally, I was being selfish and hoping you’d be back at North Texas so I could see you again! 🙂

The Blue Ridge conference in May cannot come soon enough for me. 🙂 I’d like to add at least one other local conference to my 2013 calendar. Budget wise, I wish our local conferences were spaced out a bit more, but it certainly is a blessing to have them available. And speaking of blessings — having La-tan lead your worship for the Christian Communicators Conference is sure to be one of them! Thanks for the info, Vonda.

    • Cathy, I can’t tell you how thrilled we are that La-Tan will be leading worship this year at the Christian Communicators Conference! Having a real worship leader was one of the suggestions from the past attendees. They spoke and we listened! What a joy it was that I had met La-Tan through you and Beth. Never had any idea at that time that she’d be joining us as our worship leader! But it was no surprise to God. 🙂

  • So excited that Carolina Writers is a weekend I’m free! I hope y’all will let a Virginia gal crash the party 😉

    • Yay, Susan! I can’t believe I get to see you again! Hey, you might as well just go ahead and move down here. That way you won’t have so far to travel to all these great conferences. 🙂
