Yes, you’re in! And you’ve got an entry in the drawing. Glad to hear you’re writing a devotion, even if that wasn’t what you thought you were doing!

  • Marcia Gaddis

Vonda, I hope I can join the fun! If so, my total for December is 9,104. I decided on December 1 to write an Advent devotional every day and after a week, I was so pumped about the daily exercise. Friends started calling saying they were using my daily posts for their own Advent journey – and was there a book in there somewhere? I didn’t start out intending to write a devotional book, but I think with a little clean-up it might be a possibility.

Yay, Cindy and Patty! I’m so proud of both of you! Can’t wait to see who wins! :-)

  • Cindy Patterson

My MoGo total for December is 7,125. I only barely made it, but I did… as well as every other month for the entire year :) ! And my third novel is almost complete! Thank you so much for this challenge, it gave me something to work toward.

  • Patty Willett

My December total is 8539 for “In Sweet Accord”. The previous month I didn’t do as well. But I have learned that the discipline of writing this story is God showing me how to be patient. It’s also requiring me to do a little bookkeeping! With the revisions, etc., I am learning how to adjust word total – definitely a learning process! For me, writing is praising God just like singing can be, so I have chosen Psalm 13:6 to keep me focused this year: “I will sing unto the Lord because He hath dealt bountifully with me.” Vonda, it is my new year wish that you and your readers also be able to “sing” their new song to the Lord. Your web site continues to pour out a blessing of bountiful encouragement to me.
